You can award a bonus either on an employee record or on the rota using pay adjustments.
π€Tip: When you give a bonus on the rota, everyone can see who got the bonus. To keep it confidential, we recommend that you add the adjustment to individual employee records.
Add a pay adjustment to an employee record
To award a bonus to an employee record, please follow the steps below:
πNote: Before you start, ensure you have the correct pay element set up.
From the menu, click My Team.
Find and select the required employee.
Click Payroll, then click Pay.
Click Add one-off payment.
Select a start date and click Next.
Select an end date and click Next.
This can be prior to the current date of entry, as long as you haven't exported the payroll and it's before the cut-off date.
From the Item drop-down, select the necessary pay element.
Click Save.
Add a pay adjustment on the rota
To award a bonus on the rota, please follow the steps below:
From the menu, click Rotas.
Find and select the required rota.
By the required employee, click Adj.
Click Add, then from the Adjustment drop-down, select the correct adjustment.
In the Value field, enter a value for the adjustment.
Click Add.
You can see the adjustment on the next payroll run.
